In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 sandbox-like games on the iOS platform in Hungary showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at each app’s key metrics.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation saw a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at around $15.9K in early April and eventually stabilizing near $11K by the end of June. Downloads experienced a peak of approximately 1.9K in the last week of June, while weekly active users grew steadily from 41K to 44.5K over the quarter.

Minecraft by Mojang exhibited a consistent revenue pattern with a notable increase in late May, reaching about $3.5K. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 250 per week. The game maintained a solid active user base, fluctuating slightly around the 22K mark.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games by Afterverse Games showed modest revenue figures, peaking at about $163 towards the middle of June. Download numbers were highest in late April at 115, but dropped to 43 by the end of June. Weekly active users showed minor variations, ending the quarter at around 775.

Mini World: CREATA from Miniwan Tech had a sporadic revenue performance, with a significant spike to $667 in early April and some fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads were minimal, with only a handful recorded sporadically.

One State RP・Life Simulator by ChillGaming experienced varied revenue, peaking at $232 in early April but generally staying below $50 for much of the quarter. Downloads were highest in late April at 105 and remained relatively low thereafter. Weekly active users saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at 859.
